This role involves MIG welding on steel components to produce portable traffic signals. The successful candidate will read blueprints and weld pieces together to create the structure. While the primary focus is on MIG welding, there may be occasional use of fabrication equipment such as CNC machines and press brakes. The job offers variety as different product lines and models require different blueprints and customer-specific units.
Responsibilities
Perform MIG welding on steel components.
Read and interpret blueprints to weld pieces together.
Create structures based on customer needs.
Occasionally operate fabrication equipment such as CNC machines and press brakes.
Adapt to different product lines and models.
Essential Skills
1+ years of MIG welding experience
Blueprint reading experience
Ability to read a tape measure
Capability to stand on feet for 8+ hours a day
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with fabrication equipment
Good personality fit with a family-oriented culture
Hard-working and willing to help with various tasks
