Stay for the culture.What You’ll Be Doing:What you’ll be doing:The Solution Strategy & Value team in our Product organization is accountable for end-to-end oversight of Evolent’s specialty solutions – the capabilities that power our mission to improve care quality, affordability and experience for people with complex health conditions. The Associate Director, Solution Strategy & Value will shape the strategic direction of Evolent’s Cardiology solution and drive cross-functional alignment to ensure our products are distinctive and create market-leading impact.Collaboration Opportunities:The Associate Director position will manage a portfolio of initiatives of pivotal importance to Evolent’s specialty strategy and will be focused on our Cardiology solution and its associated products. This exciting, high-visibility role will report to the Managing Director, Cardiology in Solution Strategy & Value and will work directly with diverse internal and external stakeholders, including frequent engagement with executive leadership.The Day-to-Day:
Solution vision: Contribute to the vision and strategic roadmap for the Cardiology solution, which will include conducting market research to understand the industry landscape and customer needs, validate new product opportunities and define differentiators.
Growth: Partner with business development and account leaders to articulate and link the solution vision with our sales strategy, which will include developing succinct market-facing and internal collateral (e.g., client meeting decks, RFP responses).
Vision execution: Oversee cross-functional efforts (e.g., with Clinical, Analytics, and Operations) to develop and deploy net-new products for the solution. This may include evaluating build/buy/partner strategies and managing relationships with key third-party partners.
Value improvement: Use data to surface and prioritize opportunities to improve product value creation. Oversee cross-functional efforts to problem-solve issues and implement solutions that increase product benefits for customers and/or improve Evolent’s operational efficiency to deliver. Support effective communication to customers on product value creation.
ROI monitoring/comms: Monitor, improve and drive consistency in product ROI methodology and value metrics, including quality, cost of care, and provider and member experience.
Qualifications Required and Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, which includes 5+ years in solution strategy and innovation. (Required)
5+ years of relevant professional healthcare experience (e.g., health care strategy/innovation, growth, product/tech). (Required)
Experience in a strategy or management consulting firm, with a focus on healthcare growth strategy (e.g., assessing new business opportunities) a plus. (Preferred)
Familiarity with the health care ecosystem and its stakeholders, especially health plans and specialty providers. (Required)
Knowledge of Cardiology specialty management (e.g., market landscape, specialty strategy and operations, areas of innovation). (Preferred)
Experience leading and working in diverse cross-functional groups to drive product problem-solving and define solution strategy. (Required)
Experience analyzing data to diagnose root causes of issues and estimate their impact. (Required)
Experience forming recommendations grounded in strong strategic rationale under conditions of uncertainty and/or incomplete information. (Required)
Experience effectively communicating with, presenting to, and influencing internal and external executive-level stakeholders. (Required)

Technical Requirements:We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees.
