About the Position: Join our dynamic team as a Part-Time Network Cabling & Equipment Installer! Key Responsibilities:

Perform installations and upgrades of various network infrastructures, including copper, fiber optic, and coaxial cabling.

Set up and configure routers, switches, and servers tailored to client specifications.

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues during and after installations, ensuring systems operate reliably and efficiently.

Collaborate with team members on projects, ensuring timely execution and high-quality service.

Keep detailed records of network layouts, installations, and configurations for future reference.

Engage directly with clients to resolve technical inquiries, providing outstanding support and guidance.

Qualifications:

Prior experience or a strong interest in network cabling installation and equipment configuration.

Familiarity with a variety of cabling types, connectors, and the necessary installation tools.

A strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.

Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts for a diverse audience.

Flexibility to adapt to different environments and project requirements as needed.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week

On-the-job training

Experience:

Pulling Cabling: 3 years (Required)

Cat5 and Cat6 Test & Repair: 2 years (Required)

Network Equipment Installation: 2 years (Required)
