Compensation: $15.00 + Tips

Schedule: Weekdays 12pm-6:30pm (20-30 hours per week)
LINE COOK POSITION AT BLACKBIRD DOUGHNUTS JOB DESCRIPTION
Reports to: General Manager
Status: Non-exempt, Regular Hourly, “At Will” Work Status
The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and assembling made-to-order sandwiches and other food items in a fast-paced environment. This role requires efficiency, accuracy, and a strong commitment to food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients: not limited to the following: chop vegetables, slice meats and cheeses, prepare sauces and spreads.
- Assemble sandwiches: Follow recipes and presentation guidelines to create high-quality sandwiches.
- Maintain cleanliness: Keep the work station clean and organized, and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
- Stock and rotate ingredients: Ensure freshness and minimize waste.
- Assist with other kitchen tasks

COMPENSATION |
- Minimum hourly rate of $15 per hour + tips (average $21-$26 per hour)
- Paid sick time for all employees - 40 hours per year after 90 days
- Paid vacation for ALL employees after 1 year of employment

50% employer contribution
