This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about and connect with AECOM for early career opportunities.AECOM’s Water Business Line is seeking a talented Entry-Level Architectural Designer / Architect to support water, wastewater treatment, flood protection, and associated projects in our Chelmsford, MA office.  This position offers a unique opportunity to work within an established and successful national group under the direct responsible charge and supervision of Licensed Architects that offers a diverse range of technical challenges and career development opportunities.  Join our team while we continue to deliver innovative and successful projects and help the communities in which we live and work.  This position is expected to begin as soon as possible.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Perform assignments which require the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to carry out architectural tasks associated with the design of water and wastewater treatment facilities.  Assignments are designed to further develop judgment and understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities.Exercise architectural judgment for the development of architectural plans, elevations, sections, and details including three dimensional views and life safety plans.Prepare technical specifications.Verify compliance with applicable codes and standards/practice in the alteration of existing facilities.Prepare design drawings, plans, sections, details, and profiles/sections within a Revit model.Work under the mentorship and supervision of a senior architect.Willingness and ability to occasionally travel to sites throughout North America.
