Alpers Excavating, Inc. a well established company in Traverse City is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic. Experience in heavy equipment and on road trucks a must. No need to be state licensed, but would be beneficial. Job task includes ordering parts and doing all phases of repairs and service work - keeping minor written equipment, truck repair and service records. Must be self-motivated and able to multitask between multiple pieces of equipment and/or trucks. We are willing to work with and train the right person. Complete set of company supplied tools or bring your own.
Top pay scale based on experience - $30-$45 per hour.
