Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob DescriptionThe role of Electrical Engineer plays a key role in the successful execution of projects. You will serve as a technical expert, lead project engineer, and contribute to business development. Although the primary focus will be on educational facilities, municipal/civic facilities, and retail projects, you will also have the opportunity to work in various other industry sectors such as multifamily, commercial, and higher education.Responsibilities
Act as a project manager and electrical task leader on projects, leading the work of the project team.
Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by professionally and clearly communicating and managing expectations both externally and internally.
Contribute to a proactive, highly collaborative team environment through clear communication to all stakeholders.
Bring familiarity with the Minnesota Metro market, along with experience, contacts, and possibly clients.
Essential Skills
Electrical engineering
Electrical design
Proficiency with Autodesk Revit
Knowledge of Autodesk AutoCAD Electrical
Experience in the building engineering industry
In-depth knowledge of applicable codes and standards
In-depth knowledge of SCADA systems, programmable logic controllers, instrumentation, and related technology
Advanced working knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Certificate or diploma from a college, university, or technical/community college in a related area
At least 4+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to identify different pieces of equipment for all disciplines and understand their function and use
