Growing together.The Group Retiree Pricing team supports all Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) pricing and any analytic work to ensure accurate and timely rates. This role would be responsible for assisting with financial reporting, actuarial reporting, and Underwriting reporting, running monthly reports, working with internal platforms to support the pricing season / updates, assisting in pricing studies, and other ad hoc requests. Given the material changes to Medicare Advantage, namely, as defined by the Inflation Reduction Act, this role plays a critical role to support quality, on-time reporting and works closely with our business partners (e.g., finance, actuarial, and underwriting).This role will allow the individual to dive deeper and build their data analysis knowledge and support client pricing and reporting. This is a rapidly changing and dynamic business area which will allow the individual the opportunity to not only learn more about the Medicare Advantage landscape but also gain an understanding of how changes impact clients / members along with the business. This role gives individuals an opportunity to work with large healthcare data, build and grow their data and analytic skills, and communication skills.You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.Primary Responsibilities:

Work closely with the director and analysts to prepare, review, and complete reporting for Employer Group Waiver Plan (EGWP) Parts C and D

Assist the actuarial team with state rate filings

Assist actuarial leadership and complete ad hoc analyses using Excel, SQL, and SAS

Complete and improve routinized data loads supporting actuarial pricing

Work cross-functionally to assist business partners and peers with technical and/or data questions and provide peer-review

2+ years of professional experience working with large datasets

Experience working with Excel, VBA, SQL and/or SAS

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the healthcare industry (Medicare experience is a plus)

Experience working with Medicare data and/or products

Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $70,200 to $137,800 annually. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with al minimum wage laws as applicable.
