Job Title: Medical AssemblerJob DescriptionAs a Medical Assembler, you will start in the coiling department within a cleanroom environment. You will need to gown up in a smock, booties, hair net, beard net if applicable, and eye glasses. Your duties will include operating coil winding machines, inspecting and manipulating wires using microscopes, and assembling components for medical products such as stints, catheters, and leads. You should be comfortable with both sitting and standing for extended periods as the job requires flexibility. Training typically takes 1-2 weeks, after which you may be cross-trained in other assembly areas including Molding, CEA Assembly, Laser Welding, and Implantable Housings.Hard Skills
Medical manufacturing experience (4-6+ months)
Small part assembly experience
Microscope operation (4-6+ months)

Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Saint Paul, Minnesota.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a very clean and nice facility that includes an employee wellness plan, a ping pong table in the break room, and an onsite workout facility. Most positions are within a cleanroom environment requiring specific gowning. Some roles are in a non-cleanroom area that is louder and has a slight oil smell. You should be comfortable with both sitting and standing for 8 hours and be open to using microscopes for up to 50% of the day.
