System One is currently seeking an experienced Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Electrical for a direct hire opportunity in Bridgeton , MO. Responsibilities:
Develop hardware, software, and user interface for custom factory test stations, which may include C/C/C#, LabVIEW, QT, and Python.
Design, program, and troubleshoot factory automation systems using PLCs, HMI, and robotic cells.
Generate schematics and drawings for control systems.
Perform pneumatic assembly and electrical wiring.
Oversees equipment builds, qualifications, and implementations.
Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers at all manufacturing sites.
Investigate new technologies for manufacturing process needs.
DFMA analysis of both new and existing products
Provide technical advice and support for AME and R&D Engineering.
Assist in troubleshooting existing production equipment.
Other assignments as deemed appropriate by the supervisor or manager.
Occasional travel (to Mississippi) required as needed to support project deployment; varies between 10-20%.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Controls Engineering, or other related field
1-3 years of professional experience in a similar role required. 3+ years of professional experience preferred.
Broad understanding of programming and hardware
Experience with standard programming languages like C/C/C#, Python, etc.
Experience creating GUI apps using LabVIEW or QT.
PLC, and HMI programming and diagnostics experience.
Strong leadership skills working in a collaborative environment.
Proven Project Management experience.
Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization.
Experience assisting with NPIs.
2D AutoCAD and schematic creation.
Powered holding and test equipment design experience.
Experience with robotic and automated cells, preferred.
Experience with 3D CAD software, Creo preferred.
Capital equipment procurement experience, preferred.
