2025 Legislative Session AV Technician - short term

This is a short term position. Provide in person day-to-day operations support for the audiovisual (AV) operations of the Legislative Branch. This includes customer service, equipment management and operations, coordination with other legislative session and branch staff, and monitoring meetings. Serve as the designee for set up and management of Audio-Visual equipment for committee meetings and floor sessions. This includes laptops and equipment in the room such as sound system, monitors, projectors, and microphones. A typical legislative workday includes helping staff get all equipment set up and tested for recording and broadcast, assuring all microphones and other equipment is in working order and running as needed. Then monitoring of meeting and assisting with any issues that arise. Other duties include working with the Audio/Video team to archive all video and audio files from the session and other AV support that may arise.
