Join us and challenge your IT expertise and analytical skills to help build vehicles that are as inquisitive as you are.We are looking for a Full Stack Developer who will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications using a variety of technologies, including OpenShift, MQTT, GCP, Java, Python, C, C, Erlang, Go, and shell scripting. This includes developing and maintaining solutions to receive data from Ford’s Manufacturing facilities globally for the purposes of data analysis, reporting, and use within other product teams' applications.What you’ll be able to do:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust applications.

Work with OpenShift to deploy and manage containerized applications.

Implement and maintain messaging solutions using MQTT.

Leverage Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for various cloud services.

Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Java, Python, C, C, Erlang, Go, and shell scripting.

Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and other technical issues.

Continuously improve software engineering practices within the team.

The minimum requirements we seek:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience

2+ proven experience as a Full Stack Developer with a focus on Spring Boot, MQTT, OpenShift, Google Cloud, and Google MDE

2+ programming experience with Java, Python, C, C, Erlang, Go, and/or shell scripting.

Our preferred requirements:

Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, or a combination of education and equivalent experience

Experience with agile methodologies and working in an agile environment.

Solid understanding of software development principles and design patterns.

Experience with microservices architecture.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Google Cloud Certification
