Our Las Vegas, NV laboratory is looking for a Quality Assurance Officer to join their team! The Quality Assurance Officer manages the Quality System for multiple sites across the Environment, Health, & Safety labs in the US under the direction of the General Manager. The Quality Assurance Officer is expected to conduct training, auditing, and informational site meetings. The Quality Assurance Officer role is critical to the regulatory compliance of the company.Job functions:Manages QA systems and functions for multiple site across the EHS networkLeads QA functions defined by ISO/IEC:17025, TNI Standards, DOD QSM, and state specific requirementsMaintains the Quality SystemConducts audits and reviews/analyzes data and documentationDevelops and implements company and regulatory quality standardsOversees routine testing, special projects, validation projects, or other specialized studiesAddresses and resolves Corrective or Preventive actionsAssists in the review and approval of deviation notices and investigations generated by technical departmentsAssists management is overseeing the investigation system for all technical departmentsParticipates in auditing specific aspects of the company’s ISO and TNI quality systems, report all findings, issues corrective action plans, and verifies effective corrective actionParticipates in review and approval of department SOPsServes as a subject matter expertPerforms complex work / assignments10% Travel to other SGS Built Environment Locations.
