The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 96-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.SummaryThe Vice President of Security and Infrastructure is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and management of the organization's cybersecurity and IT infrastructure including Cloud. This role ensures the security, reliability, and compliance of all IT systems and operations, aligning them with business objectives and regulatory requirements. The VP of Security and Infrastructure will lead a team of professionals, driving initiatives to protect the organization's assets, data, and intellectual property from security threats and ensuring legal compliance.This position will support our Information Technology team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and/or show-site 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will be located in Dallas, TX; however, we are also open to candidates based out of:

Las Vegas, NV

Nashville, TN

Orlando, FL

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Formulate and execute comprehensive security strategies to protect the organization’s IT infrastructure and data.

Oversee the development and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and guidelines

Identify and assess security risks, developing mitigation strategies to address potential threats

Conduct regular security risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance and identify vulnerabilities.

Lead the incident response team, managing the investigation and resolution of security breaches.

Develop and maintain an incident response plan, ensuring rapid and effective response to security incidents.

Define the strategic roadmap for IT infrastructure, aligning with organizational goals and emerging technologies.

Oversee the design, implementation, and management of robust and scalable IT infrastructure on-prem and cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP, SAP RISE)

Ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of IT systems and infrastructure.

Implement best practices for system maintenance, monitoring, and optimization.

Ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity regulations, standards, privacy and legal requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, CCPA).

Stay updated with evolving cybersecurity laws, privacy and regulations, implementing necessary changes to maintain compliance.

Develop and deliver cybersecurity training programs and content for employees and executives to promote a culture of security awareness.

Foster a security-conscious environment through regular communication and education initiatives.

Team Leadership and Development:

Lead and mentor a high-performing team of security and infrastructure professionals including contractors globally.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and development.

Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the security and infrastructure teams.

Conduct regular performance reviews, providing feedback and development opportunities.

Collaborate with other executive leaders, Business, and IT stakeholders to ensure security and infrastructure strategies support business objectives.

Partner with legal, compliance, and risk management teams to address security and compliance issues.

Communicate security and infrastructure strategies, plans, and performance to executive leadership and the board of directors

Serve as the primary point of contact for security-related inquiries and audits.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum of 15 years of experience in IT security and infrastructure management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role

Proven track record of developing and implementing successful security and infrastructure strategies.

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or equivalent.

Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage budgets, and lead cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
