Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to oversee on-site operations for ground-up and tenant improvement projects. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial construction, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to project coordination, safety, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all field operations from project start to completion.
Coordinate subcontractors, materials, equipment, and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
Maintain strict adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
Conduct regular job site meetings and safety inspections.
Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients.
Track progress, document daily activities, and manage on-site reporting.
Ensure high-quality work and a clean, organized job site.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience as a superintendent in commercial construction.
Proven experience managing projects ranging from $250K - $5M.
Strong understanding of construction sequencing, building codes, and safety regulations (OSHA).
Proficient in reading blueprints and construction documents.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.
