NEAT is still loooking Are you ready to put your STRONG horse skills – riding/training/general horse care & knowledge – to work?! Equine Therapy program located in south Reno is looking to add a Barn Manager to our TEAM!
Positions are part-time, primarily weekday mornings, with some flexibility.
BARN MANAGER (20 – 25 hours per week) works with program Directors to determine/implement the comprehensive care of 9+ program horses. This includes:
Evaluating/overseeing feed & supplements
Determining & implementing schooling/exercising of program horses - including riding & ground work
Scheduling & overseeing veterinarian/farrier/chiropractic care
Interfacing with Friends coordinator to see that horses receive required daily care
Overseeing the maintenance of horse tack and ancillary gear
Overseeing and directing the Barn Assistant in to see that assigned tasks are completed
Other tasks as directed
