Position Overview

The Project Manager will oversee multiple projects from initiation through completion. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating crews, managing materials, reviewing job costs, ensuring quality control, and serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This role requires strong communication, leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple active job sites in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Scheduling

Oversee day-to-day management of various projects.

Schedule crews, allocate resources, and ensure projects remain on the timeline and budget.

Review work orders, inspection reports, and customer requests and assign tasks accordingly.

Client Communication & Relationship Management

Serve as the main point of contact for builders, superintendents, and general contractors.

Provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve issues quickly and professionally.

Attend on-site meetings, pre-constructions, and client walkthroughs.

Compliance & Quality Control

Ensure projects meet SWPPP requirements, BMP standards, and all environmental regulations.

Conduct periodic QC inspections and verify accuracy of documentation and work order logs.

Financial & Administrative Duties

Track project budgets, job costing, and material usage.

Review invoices, assist with change orders, and ensure billing accuracy.

Identify opportunities for additional services or scope expansions.

Daily Crew Time Tracking Review.

Team Leadership

Work closely with crew leads, inspectors, and dispatch.

Provide coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship to field and support teams.

Promote a strong culture of safety and accountability.

Qualifications

3+ years of project management experience in construction, environmental services, or erosion control (preferred).

Strong understanding of SWPPP, BMPs, stormwater regulations, and jobsite compliance.

Ability to read plans, maps, and project specifications.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency with scheduling and project management software (MobiWork experience a plus).

Valid driver’s license; CDL not required but helpful.
