Full job description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snow Plow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from various properties during winter weather conditions. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge for diagnosing, and the operation snow plows/salters properly as well as of heavy equipment. The Snow Plow Operator will work closely with other team members to maintain high standards of service and safety.
Duties
Operate snow plowing equipment to clear roads, parking lots, and walkways effectively and safely
Conduct routine maintenance checks on snow plow equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Perform proper digital logs with times/dates/duties per site, follow up with before and after pictures.
Collaborate with team members to coordinate snow removal efforts efficiently.
Maintain a clean and organized truck/equipment to ensure that anyone know where everything is.
Need reliable transportation to and from site.
Experience
Proven experience in snow plowing for a minimum of 3-5yrs.
Knows how to properly load a salter with a skid steer/backhoe or small front end wheel loader on size dump truck/pickup truck
Mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot-equipment issues is a Plus.
Experience operating skid steers is necessary but experience with backhoes/front end wheel loaders is a plus.
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and maintain focus on safety protocols.
