SummaryPerforms as team/project leader for key operational program components and serves as the focal point for equipment management, field deployment operations, program requirements implementation and reporting. Establishes and maintains effective relationships between NNSA and other government agencies to include international partners.Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor and track all equipment located in the depots and at deployed locations through Federal Regulations and other defined processes as determined by program management and DOE technical leads/equipment managers.

Responsible for planning, coordinating and directing an effective equipment maintenance and repair program.

Technical advisor on all equipment issues and assists the management team with equipment budgets and potential equipment purchases.

Develop and maintain an equipment management plan to include life cycle asset management, spare stock requirements, maintenance interval/requirements, failure analysis trending, equipment disposition and local or online database tracking.

Lead initial acceptance and delivery of equipment and documentation of loan agreements and property transfers.

Recommend, present, interpret and/or implement policies/procedures in support of property management objectives; may negotiate policy interpretation with external customer.

Acts as liaison between all facets of associated supply chain activities to include procurement, type equipment research and determining best source of supply as well as building effective relationships with suppliers.

Evaluate, implement and direct all required tasking provided from the external customer and program/resource management.

Develop and maintain required processes needed to complete program specific requirements and tasking.

Maintain communication with organization program leads to ensure adequate equipment configuration, operational readiness and addition/deletion of various mission essential support equipment.

Coordinate the collection, interpretation and reporting of functional performance measures against initiatives, objectives and milestones, assuring timely submittal and progress.

Coordinate multiple mission's equipment and personnel readiness requirements implementation into asset database with federal equipment technical leads.

Deploy to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of training events, exercises, drills and real world events.

Fill on-call position on a weekly rotational basis to maintain 24/7 coverage of nuclear emergency response programs to ensure 100% operational readiness.

Manage and track personnel and equipment program qualification standards through National level readiness management systems, PQS (Personnel Qualification Standards) and/or KSA (Knowledge Skills Assessment).

Deploy and perform tasks in radiation environments at forward locations that require in-depth knowledge with Radiological Worker II requirements and maintain required medical qualifications.

Provide deployment and field operations utilizing both classified and unclassified computing and communications systems.

You Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Business or a related technical discipline and 5 or more years experience of job-related experience or two additional years of direct work experience in lieu of a Bachelors degree.

DOE Q Clearance and/or higher

Be able to move items greater than 35 lbs

Strong proven written and oral communication skills

Intermediate computer skills (Excel, Word, Power Point)

Knowledge of the National Response Framework and understanding of the National Nuclear Incident Management System

Familiar with the infrastructure and agencies that support emergency preparedness and national security

Logistical knowledge and ability to track equipment physically and through a database, perform failure trend analysis, complete annual inventories, etc.

Ability to successfully complete and maintain Rad Worker II status/certification.
