Big Iron Mechanic For Rental Company

We are searching for a Big Iron Mechanic for an Equipment Rental Company. This position is responsible to trouble shoot, repair and perform preventative maintenance on all types of big iron equipment, including Forklifts and Manlifts. Repairs shall be made in a safe cost effective and time efficient manner. The mechanic must have practical knowledge of all types of machinery and tools. He must have solid judgement and a good understanding of the possible consequences of the work they perform. He must be able to speak and read English, be to work on time and be able and willing to work with others. The work will mainly be a KC Light Tower's yard in Artesia, but if equipment breaks down in the field, a trip to location will be required to trouble shoot and repair the equipment on site.
