Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Group Manager for its New York, New York location.Duties: Support the development and implementation of effective fraud detection and prevention strategies to mitigate fraud losses while ensuring an appropriate balance between risk and customer experience at application, point of sale and within client contact points. Proactively identify fraud detection issues at the strategy and portfolio level and provide analytical/modeling solutions to manage large scale end to end projects, including vendor score business case development, technology implementation, score model upgrades, and technological implementation assessments. Leverage customer data to build risk segmentation/ mitigation strategies and complete complex analyses to identify authentication strategy and procedure gaps, manage implementation process across several business groups to affect change. Identify portfolio gaps and work with MIS team to develop and build necessary reporting. Interact with policy, operations, and other functional business partners to optimize fraud and related risk management strategies. Oversee key analytical functions within the retail bank fraud and digital fraud analytics team and support the Retail Bank lines of business and North America Credit Card businesses by utilizing advanced predictive analytical and statistical techniques. Utilize statistical techniques including Regression, Decision Trees, and Segmentation to analyze fraud trends and prevent fraud losses on U.S. Retail Bank, Retail Services Credit Card, and Branded Cards, by designing authorization and post authorization strategies. Utilize statistical software such as SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Miner, and SQL to analyze incoming data and take decisions to mitigate fraud losses and monitor customer experience. Work closely with various stakeholders including fraud operations, claims, fraud policy, technology, other risk teams, and business owners. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Statistics, Mathematics, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field and 7 years of progressive, responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Analytics Manager, Business Analytics Manager, Fraud Risk Analyst/Manager or related position involving conducting in-depth risk analysis for a global financial services institution. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in the stated fields and 5 years of the specified experience. Full term of experience must include: Leveraging statistical techniques including Regression, Decision Trees, and Segmentation to analyze fraud trends and prevent fraud losses; Leveraging Analysis System (SAS) including SAS Studio, SAS Enterprise Miner, and SQL to perform risk and data analyses of incoming data, and mitigate fraud losses; Performing data analytics across consumer banking portfolios; Fraud Experience working with fraud detection systems and capabilities; and Leveraging data mining skills to clean and translate large volumes of data.
