About the Job:
A private household is seeking a meticulous and thoughtful housekeeper/house cleaner to care for and maintain a well-appointed home, including rooms with antiques and fine furnishings. The role will be 2 days per week (Mondays and Thursdays), 5 hours each visit.
Key Details:
Two day per week (Mondays and Thursdays), 5 hours per visit
Candidate should be comfortable assessing the home and recommending an appropriate ongoing cleaning schedule
New hire must be comfortable and experienced working around delicate and valuable items
Ideal Candidate:
MUST have housekeeping experience in a private home
Highly detail-oriented and experienced with fine-home care
Understands how to clean and care for antique furnishings and delicate surfaces
Proactive, honest, and communicative about the home's needs
Able to work independently and adjust workload based on room condition
MUST live in Westchester County or the Bronx
MUST speak English and drives
