Not A Morning Person is a leading girls manufacturer in junior sleepwear & loungewear, based in the heart of Manhattan. Looking for a Graphic Artist/Designer in NYC, with a strong knowledge of streetwear design, culture, and visual trends, to join a creative design team. Ideal candidate is energetic and highly creative, must have strong organizational skills and thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment.
Create unique graphics, logos, and artwork for apparel
Collaborate with our team on upcoming streetwear collections
Develop designs that merge comfort with urban edge
Ability to deliver creative, production-ready graphics
Strong portfolio with urban/streetwear-inspired work
Passion for current streetwear trends and culture
Primary responsibilities include the following: trend research for each season; create original artwork within Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop in a MAC environment; create original prints, repeats, CADS and tech packs; create design detail sheets for the factories; work alongside current members of the design team.
Must have 5 + years of experience in the apparel production process from start to finish, and efficient when handling multiple projects and tight deadlines. Looking for a candidate with a positive attitude, and a strong work ethic is a must.
Full-time in-house position
8-hour shift - Monday to Friday, Immediate start.
