Responsible for the operation of front-end loader to lift and transport bulk materials to and from storage areas, to feed conveyors, hoppers and to load trucks or railcars.
Perform routine maintenance on mobile equipment, such as lubricating, fueling, and cleaning.
Participate in making sure the quality and quantity of raw materials meets established standards.
Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations, and with company policies and procedures.
Work toward improvement of the assigned plant and surrounding area.
What Are We Looking For
High school diploma or GED required
2 years prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred; experience in aggregate plant operation and maintenance a plus
Highly dependable, ability to work in fast paced environment
This position will work the various shifts as needed. Overtime and working on weekends will be required.
Prior experience operating mobile equipment (haul truck, skid steer, etc.) and machinery a plus
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
