Description ON-SITE IN WOODBURY, NY (LONG ISLAND)Our client, a leading commercial litigation law firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant on a contract basis (approximately 6-8 weeks). The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience supporting multiple attorneys. Litigation experience is required. Job duties include scheduling and calendaring for attorneys, editing and prooing legal documents, E-Filing in State and Federal Court, preparing subpoenas, answering phone calls and taking messages, and other administrative tasks as needed. This is an on-site position in the Woodbury office. Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pmRequirements This is a contract assignment. Experience E-filing in NY and Federal Court
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and Word
Strong communication skills
