Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Server to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for taking food and beverage orders, serving guests, preparing itemized checks, and occasionally handling payments, primarily during morning shifts. Additional responsibilities may include seating guests, clearing tables, operating a cash register, and verifying patrons' age for alcohol service. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service in a prompt, efficient, and courteous manner.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality preferred
Alcohol Awareness Certification (compliance with State regulations)
Food Handlers certification (compliance with State regulations)
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Strong decision-making skills, especially in high-pressure situations
Responsibilities:
Adhere to all safety and operational policies and procedures of Crestline Hotels and Resorts
Maintain required certifications such as Alcohol Awareness and Food Handlers
Understand restaurant layout and function of each job position
Possess comprehensive knowledge of menus and daily specials
Serve guests in a friendly, professional manner, meeting all food and beverage needs
Clear, clean, and reset tables as necessary
Proficiently operate the Point of Sale (POS) system
Complete cashiering tasks including closing checks and end-of-shift paperwork
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned, including side work according to station rotation
Ensure tables and service areas are stocked, tidy, and clean at all times
Fulfill other duties as delegated by supervisors or managers
Additional Duties:

Uphold positive guest relations consistently
Follow brand/hotel service standards for guest interaction
Explain menu items, take orders, and prepare checks accurately
Check identification to verify legal drinking age
Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and assist with various cleaning tasks
Assist with guest services including reservations, seating, and providing local area information
