Security Patrol Officer

As an unarmed patrol officer you will serve the security and safety needs of our clients in settings that include student housing communities and medical/office facilities. You will have assigned areas to patrol and monitor. You will maintain a highly visible presence to help deter security related incidents. You will interact with, and provide exceptional customer service to, students, staff and visitors.
Position Type: Full Time & Part Time Available
Job Schedule: Monday through Friday 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions
Saturday and Sunday 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift positions
Responsibilities:
Patrol and monitor your assigned area for security and safety issues
Respond to emergency situations, reports of noise disturbances, suspicious persons/vehicles, irregular or unusual conditions, safety hazards, violations of site specific rules & regulations, customer/resident assistance
Enforce all site specific rules and regulations
Prepare well written, detailed reports on security incidents, safety hazards, call responses and rule violations
Provide exceptional customer service and clear, professional communication
Provide support to other team members when necessary

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation
Pass a drug screening
Submit to background check
Preferred:
Current PPSB registration
Security patrol experience
Law enforcement or military experience
Attentive to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to solve problems and de-escalate situations in a non-confrontational manner
Compensation:
$17.00 per hour
After 6 months – up to 4 paid sick days and 4 paid personal day
After 1 year – 1week paid vacation
Time and a half pay if you work on specified holidays
If you do not have a current PPSB registration we will provide all state required training. We will also provide site specific training, guidance and support that will ensure your success as a valued member of our security team.
