Under general supervision this position will assist with startup activities for the QC Laboratories. Once commissioning of the facility is complete, the associate quality control will transition to performing routine sampling and testing in the GMP Manufacturing facility in support of the Microbiology and Environmental Monitoring group. This position will be responsible for one or more of the following activities:

Assist with general lab startup activities, such as organizing supplies, unboxing/setting up instruments, managing inventory

Perform routine tasks such as cleaning

Assist with environmental monitoring performance qualifications

Execute routine sample collection for environmental monitoring in classified areas

Assist with clean utilities performance qualifications, including water for injection, clean steam, clean compressed air, oxygen, and carbon dioxide distribution systems

Execute sample collection for routine utilities monitoring

Support routine activities over the weekends and public holidays as required

qualifications:

Some lab experience is preferred.

Experience with environmental monitoring preferred but not required

Knowledge of aseptic technique

Experience with Good Documentation Practices/Good Laboratory Practices preferred

Good writing and verbal communication skills
