Duties include (but are not limited to):
·Install Residential and commercial generators
Rebuild electrical services on houses
Wire outlets and lights
Services generators
Troubleshoot and repair generators
· Read one-line diagrams
· Attend service school and keep certifications updated
· Assist with generator installations
· Respond to work order requests in a timely fashion
· Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
· Must be available for on-call rotation for 24 hour emergency service calls
· Full-time position – must be willing to work overtime or weekend hours if needed
Qualifications:
· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
· Ability to handle physical workloads and work in various weather environments
· Strong, professional communication skills
· Valid Driver’s License – must have reliable transportation and a clean driving record
· Pre-Employment drug testing and a federal background check are required.
· All job sites are non-smoking
· Must be motivated and able to work independently or with other coworkers.
· Willing to continue education on automatic standby generator systems.
