In this position, you will work to ensure equity in PennDOT's workforce development programs, services, and activities that utilize state or federal funds. You will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of program requirements and related educational curriculum while monitoring deliverables to ascertain effectiveness. Supervision is exercised over several professional staff positions. Guidance is provided to PennDOT executive team members, managers, and supervisors regarding equal opportunity policies and programs.Interested in learning more? Work hours are 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
This position is eligible for an alternate work schedule (AWS).Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as an Equal Opportunity Specialist 3 (Commonwealth title); or
Four years of analytical experience in an equal opportunity program that includes three years of professional experience and one year of supervisory experience, and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes one year of supervisory experience.
