Associate Chemist - HRMS - Environment Testing - 3rd Shift

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriateDemonstrates and promotes the company visionRegular attendance and punctualityPerform prep/analysis of samples of various matrices for various analytical methodsAnalyze/prep samples and QC for routine testingReview, work up, and assemble all supporting data for work performedPerform basic maintenance on equipment used for routine workRead, understand, and carry out SOPs required by EPA or company methods, governing agencies, clients, and our internal QC departmentPrepare standard solutions and other reagents as neededUse word processor and spreadsheet programs on PCDispose of all chemical wastes using approved methodsConducts all activities in a safe and efficient mannerPerforms other duties as assignedWork overtime as workload requiresThis position is 3rd shift, 11pm-7:30am. The days can be Sun-Thurs, M-F, or Tues-Sat, once trained.  Training will be 1st Shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, M-F for approximately 3-6 months.
