Bakery and Wholesale Production Help 7-3 during the week and 6-2 on Weekends.
Driftwood Oven has a production and wholesale facility located in North Point Breeze. Our goods are made from scratch everyday and all of our leavened breads are made with a sourdough culture. We use organic flour, locally sourced produce, cheese, and meat, and pride ourselves on the quality of the food we produce. Driftwood Oven is locally owned and operated by a member of our Pittsburgh community.
Job Duties include:
Mixing, shaping and baking breads
Mixing scaling and baking cookies, muffins, scones,
Assembling and packing wholesale goods for delivery: sandwiches, breakfast burritos, pizza kits, etc.
Shaping and cutting croissants
Cleaning and organizing
Working well with others
Having a growth mindset, open to learning and constructive criticism
Must be able to lift 50#, work on their feet all day, have reliable transportation
Ideal candidates have experience with the tasks listed above and want to work in a busy space with a variety of great people!
Pay starts at $17.50 / hour and goes up based on experience.
