Hershey Medical Center is seeking a core residency faculty member in diverse Reading, PA.This faculty position will serve as a key member of residency faculty, assisting the Program Director and Associate Program Director in the successful development, operation, and continuous improvement of the behavioral health and wellness curriculum for the Family Medicine Residency Program. Scope of work includes didactic and seminars, direct observation and precepting of residents, resident recruitment, and facilitation of a learning network to implement the Program’s participation in learning collaboratives.Our Family and Community Medicine department provides time-sensitive acute and chronic primary care that is comprehensive, compassionate, coordinated and high-quality. We provide a safe, cost-effective environment that is patient-centered for the entire community. Faculty participate in resident and medical student education and have opportunities for research and scholarship. What We’re Seeking :

Must have PsyD or PhD (doctoral degree in behavioral health), or foreign equivalent

Ability to acquire license in the State of Pennsylvania in appropriate field

Advanced individual and group counseling skills are required

Strong knowledge of medical education, social determinants of health, professionalism, wellness, diversity equity inclusion and belonging preferred

Experience working with Family Medicine residents preferred

Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred
