Research Assistant – Vytal Plant Science Research (VPSR)
Location: Hazleton, PA
Vytal Plant Science Research (VPSR), a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing science education and research, is seeking highly motivated and energetic Research Assistants to support and deliver STEM activities in the Hazleton Area School District.
Responsibilities:
Conduct hands-on STEM activities and demonstrations for middle school students (Grades 6–8).
Assist in lesson preparation, setup, and coordination of STEM outreach programs.
Collaborate with the VPSR research and outreach teams.
Eligibility Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a related life sciences field.
Strong academic record.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Passion for science education and outreach.
Prior experience with STEM programs or teaching is a plus.
Location & Commitment:
Based in Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
On-site participation required at partnering schools and VPSR facilities.
