IT Data Platform Architect

We are currently looking for an IT Data Platform Architect to join our growing team! As an IT Data Platform Architect, you will be instrumental in designing and implementing a state-of-the-art data platform, focusing on integrating advanced AI/ML capabilities. In this role, you will have a strong foundation in cloud computing, especially with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and a deep understanding of infrastructure as code, CI/CD practices, and streaming data applications. You will be pivotal in enabling the company to leverage data effectively, integrating AI/ML insights into our business strategy. Your contributions will drive innovation, improve operational efficiencies, and help maintain our competitive edge in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. As an IT Data Platform Architect, your duties and responsibilities will include:Develop a high-performance data architecture to support large-scale data processing and AI/ML analyticsLead effort to implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform and Ansible to automate the deployment of both infrastructure and applicationsDesign CI/CD integrations using GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, ensuring smooth deployment on GCPCreate, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation, including procedural/process guides and infrastructure topology diagramsStay updated with technological advancements, advocating for and implementing necessary changes and updates to our systemsProactively identify improvement areas in infrastructure architecture and develop plans for enhancementsWork with streaming data applications, ensuring robust data flow and integrationPossess knowledge of containerization technologies and orchestration tools to manage and scale applications effectivelyBuild reusable code, components, and services, focusing on versioning, reconciliation, and robust exception handlingCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
