Description We are seeking a proactive and dedicated professional to support our management team in operational and accounting activities. This is a contract to hire opportunity in Mount Pleasant, SC. This individual will be at the forefront of our company, serving as the first point-of-contact for clients and potential clients.Key Responsibilities:

Assist in processing accounting information

Process information derived from meetings or handwritten notes into our operating software

Serve as the first point of contact for clients and potential clients

Complete daily operational tasks for the General Manager and Landscape Department

Provide a weekly update on key consumable items to the General Manager

Route incoming requests to the appropriate department and log them within our internal system (Aspire)

Process and update operations, sales schedules, and procurement information for the Landscape Department.

Working Schedule:

Office hours from 8:30am to 4:30pm

Job Duties:

All company payables processed and entered by the end of each day

All incoming requests logged in our Aspire system promptly after receipt

Daily operations, sales schedules, and procurement information for the Landscape Department are updated and processed.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk in a construction or contractor environment. Proficiency in Account Reconciliation and Data Entry. Solid understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR). Experience with Billing and Invoice Processing. Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial tasks. Familiarity with accounting software. High attention to detail and accuracy in handling financial information. Excellent organizational skills for managing multiple tasks. Strong communication skills for liaising with colleagues, suppliers, and clients. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality regarding company financials.
