General Engineering Superintendent

You will be responsible for the day-to-day implementation of plans to manage assets, resources, and Infrastructure. You will manage resources and people to achieve planned production targets.Maintain safe work practices and a safe environment as well as implementing safety improvement plansEnsure legal requirements and group working standards and policies to engineering are implemented and followedImplement underground equipment maintenance strategyFacilitate root cause problem solving, plan and implement inspections and major equipment outagesDevelop constructive working relationships and effectively manage peopleDevelop a collaborative working relationship with plant and production teamsControl of workers extensively with regards to capacity, capability and time workedProvide and seek input and advise on policies and proceduresControl capital expenditure and ensure cost savingImplement capital projectsThis role is in the Engineering Department at Band 6 and reports to the Section Engineer
