Accounting Clerk

Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This role will be part of a dynamic team in the industry, focusing on financial operations and process improvements. Responsibilities: Carry out accurate and efficient data entry for Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Manage heavy invoice data entry tasks Utilize Microsoft Excel for robust spreadsheet management Ensure attention to detail and a solution-oriented approach in all tasks Utilize QuickBooks for various accounting tasks Identify and implement process improvements for financial operation growth Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions Process customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintain precise customer credit records. Requirements Proficient in Account Reconciliation with a strong ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues Demonstrated experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring timely and accurate payment processing Proven skills in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including invoicing, collections, and reporting Ability to perform accurate Data Entry with a keen attention to detail and consistency Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with experience in creating financial reports, charts, and pivot tables Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing financial tasks such as invoicing, bill payment, and payroll functions Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
