Mothers Ruin, a NYC based cocktail bar in the heart of Germantown is seeking bad ass cooks!
Duties:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
- Assist with food preparation and ingredient portioning
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Ensure that food is prepared and plated in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations
Experience:
- Previous experience as a line cook or prep cook is required
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and knife skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work well in a team setting
Note: This position may also involve assisting with catering events as needed.
