As the second-in-command in our kitchen, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high-quality standards and delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.Assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency in food preparationCollaborate with the culinary team to develop innovative menus and dishes, incorporating local Malaysian flavors and international cuisinesLead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative and professional work environmentManage food costs, inventory, and budgeting to maintain profitability while delivering excellenceEnsure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining the highest standards of hygieneParticipate in menu planning, considering seasonal ingredients and current culinary trendsCoordinate with other departments to support seamless kitchen operations and enhance guest satisfactionAssist in organizing and executing special events and themed dining experiencesContribute to the development of standard operating procedures and recipe standardizationStep in for the Executive Chef when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership and decision-making skills
