Description We are seeking a skilled, customer-service oriented Help Desk Technician to join our IT team. As an onsite member of our staff, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive technical assistance related to computer systems, software, hardware, and network issues. This includes advanced support for both Windows and Mac OS, as well as extensive use of Microsoft O365 products.Responsibilities:
Respond to onsite queries and issue resolution.
Provide user assistance and training, focusing on software applications, particularly Microsoft O365, and both Windows and Mac operating systems.
Manage and monitor onsite hardware assets to ensure accurate inventory records.
Install, modify, and repair computer hardware and software, including Microsoft O365 applications for both Windows and Mac systems.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with Local Area Networks (LAN), Wide Area Networks (WAN), Windows and Mac operating systems, and other systems.
Perform regular system updates, maintain security setups, and troubleshoot network problems.
Follow up with onsite users to ensure their systems and applications are error-free and operating optimally.
Requirements
CompTIA A+ certification or relevant experience.
Proven experience with both Windows and Mac OS, Microsoft O365 products and other standard software applications.
Thorough understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and network troubleshooting.
Proven ability to diagnose and solve issues both in person and remotely.
Strong problem-solving, multitasking, and communication skills are essential for assisting both technical and non-technical users.
Previous experience providing onsite technical support.
