Learn more at Trellix.com .Role Overview:Reporting to the SVP of Public Sector Sales, as the RVP, Civilian Sales you will focus on strategically and tactically leading the Civilian Federal Government Sales team in direct alignment with Trellix’s Go-To-Market strategy. Of equal importance will be your focus on continuous leadership efforts aligned to attracting, developing, motivating, and transforming your team to become best in class when engaging with customers, colleagues, and partners.About the Role:
Applying your inspirational and disciplined style, lead your team in identifying and engaging new and established customers and partners in closing net-new opportunities.
Coach, support and lead the professional development of your team to foster and ensure a positive, open, innovative, disruptive and high performing environment.
Establish and reinforce net-new sales KPI’s and performance expectations, reporting sales results and forecasts against established metrics, while proactively providing recommended, measurable courses of action where short comings are identified.
You will collaborate with leaders from Engineering, Customer Success, Product Marketing and Professional Services in providing market and customer insights, challenges and suggestions.
Use Sales tools, resources and financial data to manage productivity and operational excellence and effectiveness. Grow the Civilian business in a controlled and focused manner using SFDC to report results against established KPI's
Reinforce and act as an ambassador for Trellix’s GTM model and ensure all team members and channel partners understand the need for ‘one voice’ to our clients.
About You:
You have an inspirational, disciplined sales leadership background that includes strategic and tactical Sales team management experience gained in the enterprise software sector, combined with an open, honest and collaborative people leadership style. Your SaaS background ideally includes experience gained at the application layer.
Your sales expertise must include a minimum of 8 years Sales leadership experience. Career experiences gained within enterprise SaaS Sales teams operating in a blended direct and indirect sales model, and within environments deeply focused on influencing ARR, NRR and NPS will be ideal
Your management history must include growing and evolving your teams into top performers with an account-expansion mindset through talent assessment, talent acquisition, performance management and succession planning.
In applying a hands-on, lead-from-the-front style, you have a history of leading national or regional sales teams of at least 15 people, with multiple levels of management. A history of enterprise software revenue attainment of $70M + is essential.
You must be technically savvy to learn and communicate the value of our platform and solutions with customers and partners.
National travel is required.
Base Pay Range: $215K - $250K. Actual base pay within this range will depend on varying circumstances, including the work location, individual qualifications, company budget and other operational business needs.
