Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant based in Carrollton, Texas. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our financial operations, including cash reporting and forecasting, accounting for financial transactions, and preparing financial reporting packages. Your ability to work in a fast-paced environment, solve problems independently, and maintain high attention to detail will be key to your success in this position. For immediate consideration, please send your resume directly to Carol Nichols, SVP Robert Half Finance and Accounting to carol.nichols@roberthalf.c0m.Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications Maintain and update customer credit records regularly Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions based on account status Facilitate the movement of funds to support business liquidity needs Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cash reports and forecasts Collaborate with HR leadership to ensure accurate accounting for payroll-related financial transactions Complete necessary journal entries for banking related activities and cash movements Assist in preparing financial reporting packages for various stakeholders including lenders, owners, and management Develop and monitor compliance controls around corporate banking activities Assist in transitioning financial reporting to Power BI platform Oversee and review weekly payroll fundings and associated financial activity Assist with external audit requests and prepare necessary schedules related to cash and payroll.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role as a Sr. Accountant Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations is essential Demonstrated knowledge and experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Power BI Previous experience with Month End Close processes is required Familiarity with US GAAP standards is necessary Prefer prior experience in creating Cash Flow Reports and Cash Forecasting Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail is crucial Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are necessary Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred Professional certification such as CPA is a plus.For immediate consideration, please send your resume directly to Carol Nichols, SVP Robert Half Finance and Accounting to carol.nichols@roberthalf.c0m.
