Part Time - Full Time A/P Bookkeeper for Real Estate company

NEED NOW - Position in Accounts payable - Bookkeeper needed for a very fast paced Property Management -Real Estate office in Plano, Tx for immediate opening using Appfolio software. We have residential homes and commercial buildings as well as we develop as needed. Might be a part time or full time position.

Duties in Accounting dept to include involvement and cross training in:

- Preparing - keying- processing accounts payable and paying all bills

- Cross training on Preparing deposits, ACH payments, accounts receivables

- Reconcillation of multiple credit cards and all transactions,

- Writing checks for credit card payments, recording wires and ach payments

- Filing check stubs and ACH deposits

- Creating general journal entries, reconciling bank accounts, understanding of debits and credits and how financials work.

- Preparing reports as needed, in cash and accrual books using software.

- Reconcile multiple bank accounts and coding to correct property/ownership.

- Assisting with various accounting tasks as needed, including tenant reconciliations, commercial CAM Reconciliations.

Qualifications:

- Strong bookkeeping - accounting best practices knowledge and analytical skills, multi-tasking, priority changing as needed.

- Attention to detail and excellent data entry skills

- Highly organized with Can Do Attitude!

- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

- Confidentiality, positive attitude and get along well with others as a team environment.

- Great attendance and stable work history.

- Previous experience preferred, especially with AppFolio Software or property mgmt software.

- Good working skills in all office products including excel, word and outlook.
