Design Transportation, a Dallas based, Truckload Carrier, is seeking a Load Planner/CSR representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will be self- motivated and possess strategic knowledge of planning & scheduling drivers. We are currently running an average of 70 trucks, both OTR & Regional, and have been in business for over 30 years.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Load planning for trucks in the TX – OK – AR – MS regions.
Booking loads with existing customers, as well as negotiating broker’s rates.
Maintaining Trailer Pools in Dallas and Houston.
Loading trucks to our Customer freight market.
Load Scheduling.
Answering emails quickly and efficiently.
Answering phones.
Honoring Driver’s time off request.
Being a team player.
Shift: (6:00am-3:00pm) Monday – Friday. Rotating ½ day Saturday every 4 weeks. (No remote work available)
All other duties as assigned
Must have High School or equivalent
Mcleod TMS system a plus
Must be familiar with HOS
Must have a minimum of 2 years of verifiable experience in Truckload Transportation.
