Production Associate –
Monday thru Friday:
2nd shift- 4:00 pm to 12:00 am
The job location is in Arlington, Texas 76011
The pay rate is 16.80 an hour
Temp to Perm.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Work with work instructions to guide their work and the assemblies through the manufacturing process.
Conducting safety and compliance meetings.
Understand and effectively use materials provided by process engineering to perform the job and make sure that all equipment is running properly and safely daily.
Immediately notify the supervisor if any equipment is malfunctioning.
Perform all required preventative maintenance for machine operation and document per "Good Documentation Practices Procedure" on the proper logs.
Maintain a clean work area.
Perform proficiently at a quality standard set by the company's mission and commitment.
Keep accurate records of production data and any maintenance or repair work performed on equipment.
Qualifications:
A minimum of an associate degree will be preferred, or a High School Diploma or GED and be able to take all appropriate training classes required in lieu of a degree.
1 to 3 years’ experience in electronics assembly.
Experience
Must have a minimum of 1-2 years of electronics or SMT experience and various components.
Detail oriented and organizational skills.
Knowledge of component identification.
Knowledge of bill of materials, assembly drawings, product specific documentation, work instructions, and other general documents
Knowledge of IPC-610 all classifications
Ability to multi-task and work in fast paced environment
Ability to read and speak English fluently.
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong verbal/written communication
Computer literacy.
TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS
Use of hands and tools to properly perform the job.
Work in an ESD environment wearing ESD equipment.
Incumbent must be able to operate a computer.
Stooping, bending, stretching, and reaching outward and over their head.
This position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and walking.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
Lift minimum of forty (40) pounds.
Willingness to cross-train into other departments.
