HOTEL BELLMAN DRIVER
Presents well-groomed represents self and hotel
Arrives before start of shift starts
Always greets guests/clients with welcoming smile, interact with guests/clients in a professional and courteous manner
Transports guests/clients from airport to hotel, restaurants and shops
Carry out vehicle maintenance checks on a regular and timely basis, maintaining a neat and organized travel log
Before each shift Bellman must do a Walk-around of vehicle with the next shift Bellman to review review and log any possible new damage vehicle possibly incurred during previous shift. This is to prevent any unverified damages to next shift Bellman, every Bellman must properly organize and log packages being stored in Bell Closet, daily duty. Ensuring vehicle is clean of trash and debris and inspect for lost items ready for next shift. Vehicle must be vacuumed and washed as needed, generally 2 times per week
Pick up and clean trash from main hotel entrance driveway, empty trash cans, empty ashtrays, monitor unattended cars in same main driveway area, clean lobby area wipe counters, floors must be swept often using a dust-mop, cleaning all lobby areas from elevator section to restaurant section, gum must be removed from the hotel main driveway by using gum-remover blade
When Bell Carts are in use by hotel guests, assure to get room number in to recover carts immediately for next use
Bellman must assist Front Desk Clerk with daily Front Desk tasks whenever workload is obviously excessive
Walk around hotel property to assure Bell Carts and do a visual walk-through for security of hotel building . As well as parking lot areas for vehicles that have been parked more than 3 days, report all abandoned vehicles immediately
Stock Front Desk housekeeping drawers with supplies as needed
Must be clean and neat in appearance at all times, never sloppy
Driver Requirements:
Must be 25 years or over with a good driving record
A valid driver's license
1-year driving experience preferred but not required
Physical strength and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Exceptional interpersonal skills, always greet guests and smile
Good verbal communication
