Controller – Manufacturing company located in North Houston.
Pay range is $80-$100K (DOE).
Responsibilities:
Manage all aspects of financial accounting, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP
Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify opportunities for improvement
Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accuracy and alignment with company goals
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulations
Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team to support business growth and profitability
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
CPA designation preferred
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or Assistant Controller role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques
Experience working in Sage 100 Contractor
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
