Title:Process Control System - Analyzer SMEKBR Sustainable Technology Solutions (STS) provides holistic and value-added solutions across the entire asset life cycle. These include world-class licensed process technologies, differentiated advisory services, deep technical domain expertise, energy transition solutions, high-end design capabilities, and smart solutions to optimize planned and operating assets.KBR is looking for a Process Control System - Analyzer SME to lead the early conceptual definition of the process analyzer scope for a Mega greenfield refining and petrochemical project with upwards of 300+ different analyzers (20 types).Functional job responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Lead the early conceptual definition of the process analyzer scope for a Mega greenfield refining and petrochemical project with upwards of 300+ different analyzers (20 types).
Present to and Coordinate with Customer on Analyzer Strategy and Regular Progress Updates
Develop Analyzer program strategy through all phases of the stage gate process
Direct critical activities requiring knowledge and expertise concerning analyzers
Directs the efforts of third-party design engineering and construction contractors
Develop conceptual scopes and write specifications and requirements for analyzer projects
Generate, review, and approve analyzer packages of assigned projects
Execute and approve Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) of analytical systems
Design analyzer projects to engineering and industry standards and guidelines and ensure corporate requirements are followed.
Identify new analyzer technologies and evaluate for suitability
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
EDUCATION: 4-year Bachelor’s degree
5+ years of industrial analyzer experience
5+ years of experience in instrumentation
Total Minimum 10 years of experience
Communication skills to present plan and to build relationship with customer
Experience with electrical schematic drawings, logic diagrams, and panel schedules
Experience developing specifications, system design, and analyzer selection
Industry experience in refining and petrochemical facilities
Experience leading initiatives and managing suppliers
Experience with complex analyzers for petrochemical applications (Gas Chromatographs, CEMS, etc) including analyzer buildings, sample conditioning systems, and calibration appurtenances
