Develop data warehouse process models, including sourcing, loading, transformation, and extraction.
Verify the structure, accuracy, and quality of warehouse data.
Design, develop, and implement ETL processes.
Ensure proper integration of data with existing Intermountain data standards and business processes.
Develop, document, and deliver complex ad-hoc queries for production data as requested by business users.
Map data between source systems, data warehouses, and data marts.
Design and implement warehouse database structures.
Develop and maintain standards for the design of data warehouse elements, such as data architectures, models, tools, and databases.
Provide troubleshooting support for data warehouses.
Write new programs and modify existing programs to meet customer requirements, using SQL PLSQL, Python, Linux, and ETL tools.
Design, implement, and operate comprehensive data warehouse systems to balance optimization of data access with batch loading and resource utilization factors, according to customer requirements.
Perform system analysis, data analysis and programming, using a variety of computer languages including SQL, PLSQL, and Python.
Create supporting documentation, such as metadata and diagrams of entity relationships, business processes, and process flow.
Create and implement metadata processes and frameworks.
Create plans, test files, and scripts for data warehouse testing, ranging from unit to integration testing.
Position may telecommute from any state in the United States except California, Washington, New York, New Jersey, and Hawaii.Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge of administration, installation, configuration, and upgrades to Oracle databases;
Knowledge of applying database patches under Linux HP-Unix, IBM-AIX, and Windows platforms;
Knowledge of MongoDB and MemSQL (SingleStore);
Knowledge of Real Application Cluster (RAC) and Automatic Storage Management (ASM) environments using the Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) Grid Control;
Knowledge of Unix shell scripting and PL/SQL;
Knowledge of Log Miner, Toad, and Oracle SQL Developer;
Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise’s Linux (RHEL).
